Chicago Sting 1982-83 Road Jersey

Chicago Sting 1982-83 Road Jersey The Chicago Sting was an American professional Soccer team based in chicago that played from 1974-1988. The Sting played in both the North American Soccer League (NASL) and the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) throughout their career and became NASL champions twice (1981 and 1984). The shirt we have replicated is from 1982-83 when the Stings made their debut in the MISL. In the winter of 1982, the NASL allowed three franchises: the San Diego Sockers, the San Jose Earthquakes and the Chicago Sting, to join the MISL for the upcoming season. Although it was a completely different type of football, they acquitted themselves well and ended up finishing third. The shirt is long sleeve with a black v-neck collar and cuffing, the Chicago Sting embroidered badge on the left chest and heat sealed No 7 on the front, back and left sleeve.
